Effective June 30, 2009
All California architects are required to complete mandatory continuing education coursework in disability access as a condition of license renewal. The law also requires licensees to provide documentation from the course provider to the California Architects Board.
All California architects will have to complete 5 hours of disability access continuing education to renew their license in 2011 and each subsequent renewal.
